The right and left channel Volume controls should typically be set between the 8 o’clock and 

10 o’clock positions for normal operation.

An Automatic Protection Option is available for this amplifier that provides additional 

operational safeguards, including: 1) automatic shutdown after a specified period of time, 2) 

shutdown in the event of excessive temperature, and 3) monitoring of B+ voltages. This optional 

device is described separately.
