60 W Stereo Power Amplifier

– Trim the wire lengths as needed to comfortably reach the pads on the foil side of the

board. Insert one wire in the

TERM5

position and solder in place. Solder from the foil

side of the board. Insert the other wire in the

TERM6

position and solder in place.

Assembly of the left channel PWB has now been completed. The finished board is shown in

Figure 5.3. (The left and right channel PWBs are identical.) Check the PWB for proper

installation of all components. Look for bad solder connections or solder splash that might cause a

short-circuit. Set the left channel amplifier board aside; it will be used later.
