– Prepare a 16-inch long black #18 wire. Secure one end to the ground lug on the left
channel PWB. Solder. Secure the other end to one of the available back panel ground lugs.
Do not solder. Route the wire through the cable clamp adjacent to RYL51 and the power
supply PWB.
– Prepare a 10-inch long #16 white stranded wire. Attach quick-disconnect terminals on
each end. Attach one end of the wire to the Load post on ac line filter FL51 closest to the
back panel. It may be helpful to use long-nose pliers to make the connection. Attach the
other end to the ACN-1 terminal on the power supply PWB. Route the wire through the
cable clamp adjacent to FL51 and the power supply PWB.
– Prepare a 13-inch long #22 white wire. Attach a quick-disconnect terminal to one end of
the wire. Attach to the
ACN-5
(AC neutral to PL1) post on the power supply PWB. Route
the other end of the wire toward the front panel. It will be connected later.
– Prepare a 13-inch long #22 white wire. Attach a quick-disconnect terminal to one end of
the wire. Attach to the
ACH-7
(AC hot to PL1) post on the power supply PWB. Route the
other end of the wire toward the front panel.
The two #22 white wires will connect to the front panel pilot lamp. Position the wire ends at
the lamp and observe where their paths intersect. Twist the wires together along this path.
– Prepare a 20-inch long #16 stranded black wire. Attach a quick-disconnect terminal to one
end. Attach the terminal to the available Load post on ac line filter FL51. Examine the
filter connections. The black wires on the Line and Load terminals should be on the same
side of the device. Route the other end of the black wire toward the front of the chassis
through the cable clamp adjacent to FL51 and the power supply PWB. It will be connected
later.
– Prepare a 10-inch long #16 stranded black wire. Attach a quick-disconnect terminal to one
end of the wire. Attach to the
ACH-1
terminal on the power supply PWB. Route the other
end of the black wire toward the front of the chassis.
– Cut a 5-inch piece of small expandable sleeving. Cut two pieces of small heat-shrink
tubing, each about 3/4-inch long.
