Iridium Manual

to save a log file onto a

connected MicroSD card or a USb storage device in
case you need support or service for your Iridium.

Test

buttons: Tap on one of the buttons to perform the

corresponding test routine. Please follow the onscreen
instructions.

How to update the Iridium operating system

Iridium has a service-friendly feature to update the system
software without changing any parts.

All software updates come in the form of a .bin file that can
be copied on every FAT file formatted MicroSD card or USB
storage device. The fastest way to get this file is by down-
loading it from our web site at:

waldorfmusic.com/iridium

Please make sure to download the following files:

Iridium.update.bin

If downloaded onto your computer hard disk, please pro-

ceed as follows:

Connect a suitable MicroSD card or USB storage
device (formatted with FAT or FAT32 file sys-
tem) to your computer.

Copy the Iridium.update.bin file to the MicroSD
card/USb storage device and move it into the top
folder (if necessary).

Insert the MicroSD card into the Iridium’s
MicroSD card slot or connect the USB storage de-
vice to the

USB Controller

port.
