Accessory Kits
There are 3 different Accessory Kits included with the 3 basic configurations of Surveyor2000; ceiling, indoor
pendant and outdoor pendant. These kits provide the necessary items for installation as follows:

NOTE : Pipe sealant is included in the outdoor housing accessory kit only.
The termination box and RJ-45 cable assembly is included to be used for control and relay connections in
connector J3 or alarm connections in connector J2. Refer to the Wiring section of this manual for details on
using this supplied termination box and cable assembly. The supplied strain relief fitting is used as an
alternate means of providing support for cables on the In-Ceiling Mount model when flexible conduit pipe is
not used. Refer to the In-Ceiling Mount model sub-section of the Installation section for details on installing
this fitting. The RS-485 jumpers are provided to configure the RS-485 protocol and enable daisy-chaining of
Surveyor2000. The sealant is used for sealing the end of the 1.0-inch NPT pipe on the Outdoor Pendant
model. Refer to the Outdoor Pendant model sub-section of the Installation section for details on applying the
sealant.

All Vicon equipment is tested and inspected before leaving the factory. It is the carrier’s responsibility to
