Note: The parallel port tests are fully operational with the V1200X-IA Alarm Interface device only.

To test the output alarm port, set all of the switches on your alarm interface device to

Enable

. Run the test and

observe the LEDs. The LEDs should light sequentially starting with the LED corresponding to the X-IA address
and continuing through all LEDs to end with the first LED that was lit (which will remain illuminated).
Illumination of the LEDs will occur to the left (decreasing alarm numbers). (On older models of alarm interface
devices which have flashing LEDs, the LED corresponding to the X-IA address will flash.)
