Set Alarm Priority
Priority levels are used to define a relative scale of importance to alarms, allowing alarms to be added to the
monitor stack in order of priority level.

Priority Level
The alarms in the alarm stack are sorted by priority as they are detected, if the alarm input order is Sort By
Priority as discussed on page 28 for common stack mode or Priority as discussed on page 33 for independent
stack mode. A higher priority level is identified by a lower number, for example, an alarm with priority level 009
will be added to the stack before an alarm with priority level 010.
Settings: 001 to 128
Keys: Numeric keypad’s + (plus) key or - (minus) key
Default: 002
Edit Alarm Call-Up
The alarm call-up defines the actions to be taken and the alarm video to be displayed when the alarm
identified at the top of the screen is activated. All alarm monitors are listed, and the video from any camera
may be displayed on any monitor for the specified alarm, if the camera has been partitioned to the monitor.

on page 57. The state of one auxiliary relay in each receiver can be
programmed to respond to an alarm input to control equipment at the camera station. A preset position may
be recalled for each camera.
X-IA inputs may be used as event triggers (refer to page 11) or to activate alarms. The alarm input number at
the top of this screen includes only those input numbers that have not been defined as event triggers in the
Set Triggered Inputs screen (refer to page 12).
Note: Use camera number “0000” to blank the monitor on alarm or “NC” for no change (video will not change
for an activated alarm).
If you use preset number 80, it is important to realize that the Surveyor and Surveyor99 use preset 80 to
execute a preprogrammed tour from memory. You would not be able to edit this tour from the NOVA
V1400, but would have to return to the Surveyor or Surveyor99 programming menus.
