Time/Date/Titler
XX009 Rev 1099 NOVA V1400
Time/Date/Titler
Time, date, and titling functions are programmed using menus selected from the Display Titling Menu, as
discussed in the following sections. You may define customized camera and alarm titles. Preset and sector
titles are fixed (“Preset 78”, for example). Titles are entered using the programming keyboard.
Note: Do not attempt to enter the submenus of the Display Titling screen if you have an active alarm or a
running tour. The system must be idle or you will be denied access to these screens.

Camera Titles
Camera titles are usually used to identify the physical location of the area under surveillance by the cameras
within the CCTV system. The appropriate user-defined or default camera title will be displayed on the monitor
screen when the camera is selected, if the monitor’s camera title display has been enabled. (Refer to
Enable/Disable Displays
on page 47 for further information on enabling camera titles.) The system allows a
maximum of 2048 cameras, and each camera may have a unique, single-line title of up to twenty
alphanumeric characters.
