View Receiver Status
The status of all receivers is shown on this screen. Table 3 lists the three status descriptors. A list of the
monitor(s) displaying video from the receivers is also available onscreen. Press Escape to return to the
previous menu.

Alarm Actions
The alarm actions available with the software provide versatile responses to activated alarms while
maintaining simple alarm programming procedures. Alarms can be activated from the following sources:
•
2048 receiver alarms
•
512 X-IA alarms (alarms from alarm interface devices V1200X-IA or V1300X-IA)
•
2048 RS-232 alarms (from the two alarm serial ports and the host port).
The X-IA alarms are restricted to alarm input numbers 1 through 512. For example, if RS-232 alarm 1,
receiver alarm input 1, or X-IA alarm 1 activates, the Edit Alarm Call-Up (refer to page 30) choices for alarm
input 1 will be used. However, alarm input 513 can only be activated by receiver alarm 513 or one of the three
RS-232 ports - you cannot use an X-IA alarm, as the number 513 is outside the range of 1 - 512. While you
can activate and reset alarms through the two alarm serial ports, you cannot acknowledge them using those
ports or use any other of the RS-232 command codes discussed in
NOVA V1400 Host Computer Interface
Software Instruction Manual XX010 . All RS-232 command codes, including alarm acknowledge, are
accessible using the host port. Alarm serial ports are discussed on page 40 and the host port is discussed on
page 7. Enter the number of a submenu.
