procedure; Check of Filter with Chip Detector Internal Circuit for Continuity

OPERATIONS AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

CORRECTIVE

ACTIONS

ECKED BY

1. Remove the filter with chip detector from the engine: (1) Open the oil sump drain cock

and drain oil. (2) Undo three filter with chip detector body attachment nuts. (3) Wash the filter with
chip detector with clean unleaded gasoline.

(4) Connect the terminal to the filter, interconnect the plate set arid close the filter mesh to

ground.

T.R. The warning lamp on the panel should come on.
2. Reinstall the filter with chip detector and screw on its attachment nuts. 3. Connect the

terminal and fit rubber boot.

Replace defective filter

with chip detector or detect and
eliminate trouble in filter circuit
