2.2.3.1.2.1 Basic Motor Dialog
This dialog, which allows the user to position the camera field of view for the active test point, is used
inside all Maintenance Dialogs.
As shown below there are several functions associated with this dialog. Refer to the illustration for
additional information. After the correct test point location is found, press the
Apply button to save the
changes.
•
Operation : This command will select Steps or Lines to move the camera by the specified number
of motor steps or the specified number of projector lines.
•
# of lines/steps : This box allows you to enter the number of steps or lines the camera will move for
each push of the keypad arrows. The direction of the spin control indicates whether horizontal or
vertical step amounts are being altered.
•
Motor Location: This displays coordinates of the current motor location.
•
Move : This button allows you to enter coordinates of the desired motor location.
•
Advance & Set : This button changes the active test point to the next point and stores the current
motor coordinates.
•
MotorReset
: This button will perform initial motor setup, e.g., homes the motor and moves the
motor to location 0,0.
•
TP Reset : This button will position the motor at the current test point’s last saved motor location.
•
Max Convergence : This button changes the camera field of view so the intersection of maximum
convergence distortion is in the center of the field of view. Before pressing the button, the center-
most intersection must display some convergence distortion when the
Misconverge box is
checked.
•
Keypad : Use the keypad to reposition the camera field of view. Camera motion is relative the AU
camera. For example, selecting the left arrow ( ) will swing the displayed field of view to the
left.

“ C” button : This button, inside the keypad, will find the intersection that is nearest the center of
