NOTE: If the camera motor has been explicitly turned “off”, any one of the AU operations, geometry
or convergence functions will automatically power the motor back on.
NOTE: All AU operations, except the Maintenance Windows implicitly power OFF the motors after
operation completion.
2.2.3 Additional Menus and Dialogs:
There are additional menus and dialogs used in conjunction with the setup of the AU system and
program. The additional menus and items which are commonly used with the setup functions are explain
below.
2.2.3.1 Automated Setup
The Automated Setup dialog contains the controls and information necessary to perform the initial setup
of the ACON Ultra software. There are four regions of interest within the window.
• Projection Setup status
•
Setup Tasks
•
Guided Test Point setup
•
Message window
Each of these regions will be described in the following sections.
The Projector Setup Status panel holds current setup information on each channel in the system. The
tabs contain the ID of the projector. Selecting a tab displays that channel’s setup information.
The Information displayed for each channel includes the current state of the projector, including Power
status, Standby status, current operational State, and the Last Message posted to the channel. Also
displayed for each channel is the current progress towards completing the initial setup of the channel.
• The seven categories of setup flags are listed, with two of these categories having a further break
down (to separately list progress with each of the three test point sets).
• The colored indicator next to each of these entries indicates the level of completion of that item.
GREEN indicates a completed process, YELLOW indicates an incomplete process, GRAY indicates a
process that has not been started, and RED indicates a process that encountered an error.
