► Driver card
The driver card generally contains:
• Data for identifying the driver.
è Personal ITS data [ } 10]
The following data is stored on the driver
card chip after each vehicle use:
• Insertion and removal of the card
• Used vehicles
• Date and odometer reading
• Activities of the driver, during normal
driving operation at least 56 days
• Kilometres travelled
• Country entries
• Status information (single or crew op-
eration)
• Appearing events / faults
• Information concerning control activit-
ies
• Specific conditions:
– Journeys with ferry/train status
– Journeys with OUT status (out of
scope)
– Time and location of loading/un-
loading (cabotage)
– Time and location of the border
crossing (Posted Workers Direct-
ive)
When the internal memory is full,
theDTCO 4.1 overwrites the older data.

► Company card
The company card generally contains:
• Data for identifying the company and
authorising access to stored data.
After each use, the following data is
stored on the company card:
• Type of activity
– Log in/log out
– Downloading the data from the
data memory
– Downloading the data from the
driver card
• Time period (from / to) from which the
data was downloaded
• Vehicle ID
• Identity of the driver card from which
the data was downloaded
When the chip memory is full, the
DTCO 4.1 overwrites the older data.
