# DESCRIPTION
7 DEUTERIUM LAMP test
Enables the filament and then switches on the lamp.
Displays ‘76’ during filament on
Display “70” when lamp is operating
8 VIS LAMP test (if fitted. This test will do nothing if there is no Vis lamp option
present)
Displays ‘86’ prior to enabling lamp
Displays ‘80’ while it is running

10 EEPROM PARAMETER ERASE
The entire contents of the EEPROM will be erased. Does not affect the program
resident in the Flash memory.

11 FLASH MEMORY test
Continuously tests CRC/checksum read/write in the main program in the flash
memory.

4.7 Dual Photodiode pre-amp PWB
The Preamplifier PWB takes the small diode currents supplied
from the photodiode detectors and converts them to a useable
signal voltage. The cable from the Processor PWB is a shielded
twisted pair type used to minimize any induced interference.
This PWB contains the pre-amplifier, integrator, integrator reset
circuits, dual supplies and dual photodiode detectors. The sample
and reference channels have their own unique electronics to
eliminate crosstalk between the two.
The integrator circuits operate off +/-9Volt supplies generated on
the main processor PWB. The pre-amp circuits operate off +0.5V/-
4.5V generated on board by U6 and U7 using the +/-9Volts.
