•
Once communications has been established, check that the Vis
lamp option is recognized. Check that the Instrument status on
the Detector page of the diagnostics software displays “Vis On”.
•
Enter the Method tab and set the following parameters;
Signal Mode: ADC counts
Add Line: Time 20min
OK
Tick End of Method Line and set Method End Action to “Reset”

Select Download Method and wait for the Start button to become
active.
•
Press Start
•
Enter the Main page to view the signal trace on the screen.
•
Move the Vis lamp housing with your fingers to increase the
signal level on the screen.
•
When the maximum level has been achieved, tighten the two
screws evenly. The signal level may go down slightly when you do
this. Try to minimize the loss.
•
When optimization is complete, replace only one of the two
padding pieces that was previously removed. Discard the other
piece.
