ProStar325 Service Manual

IR Comms

– when communicating via infra red link, use these

fields to establish communication to the desired detector. The
“Discover” button is greyed out.

Fixed IP Settings

– Used to manually assign an IP address,

subnet & gateway settings. Enter the details in the desired fields
then click “Set”.
These details can also be uploaded from the detector by clicking
on “Load”.

TCP/IP Connection

– If you know the unique IP address of the

detector you wish to connect to, enter in the address and click
“connect”.
This is a direct method of connection and is an alternative to
using the ‘Discover’ method as previously described.
