6.6 _SETTING THE VOLUME FOR THE CALIBRATION

This step will help you setup the right volume for a maximized calibration. The volume has 

been set by default to -40dB to protect your ears and your speakers.

OUT (dB FS) shows the strength of the output signal.
RTA MIC (dB SPL) shows the strength of the signal regarding the frequency on the capsule 0 of the microphone (the top 

one of the microphone).
MIC (dB SPL) shows the strength of the signal received by each capsule of the microphone.
MIC LEVEL is the summary of the previous one. It shows the median value of the 4 capsules.

•  Blue: The signal is too low.
•  Green: The signal between 78-82 dB is the appropriate range for optimal calibration.
•  Red: The signal is too loud.

By clicking on Start, you begin playing a pink noise at the current volume.
You can choose to set the mode on Auto (all channels will be heard one after the other) or on Manual (you will have to 

change the speaker manually).
