Poll background

Specify an interval at which DN611B accesses devices.

00: Scan polling (Access every scan)

01: Background polling (Access every scans specified in poll ratio)

Bit strobe receive size

Specify a size of data from a slave of bit strobe type to DN611B in bytes.

Specify a size of data from a slave of polling type to DN611B in bytes.

Specify a size of data from DN611B to a slave of polling type in bytes.

For those items marked (*), refer to the manual for the slave devices.

In specifying scan type of slave device, "2: the mix of polling and bit strobe" was available at old model

DN611, but this specification is stopped using in DN611A and DN611B.

This is because the slave which uses the mix of polling and a bit strobe does not exist.

Note that the DN611B is subject to the following restrictions on transmission in size 0 byte to polling type slave

devices.

Restrictions

When a slave device fails in communication with the DN611B due to some reason (slave device power off

or connector removed, for example), the DN611B cannot recognize whether the slave device is abnormal.

Even after the cause of the abnormality is remedied, communication cannot be resumed between the

slave device and the DN611B .

5) Others



The maximum number of slave devices that can be set by a single parameter setting request is 10. If it

is necessary to set more slave devices than that, change the set parameter values and repeat parameter

setting.



It takes about 4 seconds to set the parameters of a slave device.

Important



The parameter setting request (slave device) sets the parameters of slave devices in the non-volatile memory of

the DN611. It is not necessary to execute this request each time power is switched on unless the slave devices

configuration is changed.



If you change the slave device configuration (scan list), you will need to restart DN611B.
