The DeviceNet drop line consists of a thin cable. The length of the drop line is shown in Table 1-1. The

arrangement of nodes on the drop line can be short drop line configuration / multi-drop configuration / branch

configuration. Figure 1-2 and Figure 1-3 show how to calculate the drop line length and total extension in each

case.
