3) Description of operation
a) When REQ is TRUE, DN611B specified by CH, UNIT, and SLOT does the reset operation. If CLR_SL is
"1" at this time, it also clears the scan list.
b) After the initialization process is completed, set DONE to TRUE.
c) If the initialization request process does not complete for more than 10 seconds due to an error, etc.,
ERR and DONE are set to TRUE.
d) Outputs the completion status to STATUS.
e) If REQ is FALSE, both DONE and ERR will be FALSE.
f) Once this function block is started (REQ is set to TURE), hold REQ to TRUE until DONE is set to TRUE.
until DONE becomes TRUE.
(4) Execution time
The time for station status to change from 4000H to 2000H/2040H after REQ is turned TRUE by the
controller
• Scan list is present in the non-volatile memory :
Scan list not cleared...Approx. 1 second
Scan list cleared ... Approx. 9 seconds
• No scan list is present in the non-volatile memory : Scan list not cleared... Approx. 9 seconds
Scan list cleared... Approx. 9 seconds
(5) Others
• Startup time is about 9 seconds after switching power on when there is no scan list in the non-volatile
memory.
Do not issue various requests from the controller to the
DN611B or input/output data while the DN611B is
processing the reset.
The request completes abnormally (station mode abnormal error)
or the module self-check fails and goes into down mode.

Important
 When the reset request is executed with "Scan list clear=1", the initial value of DN611B (HMS board) is set as
“DN611B parameter”, and the “Slave device parameter (scan list)” becomes an unset state.
Note that if you only set “Slave device parameter” in this state, you can start DeviceNet communication with a
RUN request.
Please set “DN611B parameter” and “Slave device parameter” as necessary before sending a RUN request.
