The ePort software allows users to download data from the TEOM 1405
monitor using a personal computer (PC) with the Windows XP operating
system. The monitor must be attached to a local area network (LAN) or
directly to a router using the Ethernet connection on the back of the
instrument (Figure 3-11). In order to use ePort, it must have a valid IP
address.

Windows XP. If you are not sure if the ePort PC has the most recent
Windows XP updates installed, ePort should be installed while the PC is
in a lab or another location where Windows updates can be obtained
