To display, print, and clear the Error Log

1. Open the Error Log page in ChromQuest:

a. Open the online Instrument window for your instrument.

b. Choose 

Control > Instrument Status

.

The Instrument Status window appears.

c.

Click the 

Surveyor PDA Plus 

tab to open the Surveyor PDA Plus Instrument Status 

page.

d. Click 

Diagnostics

 to open the PDA Plus Diagnostics dialog box.

e.

Click the 

Error Log

 tab to display the Error Log page

.

2. Use the buttons in the Error log page to do the following:

• Click 

Get

 to retrieve and display the error log information from the detector. 

Figure 66

 shows a sample Error Log.

• Click 

Print

 to print a copy of the displayed log. 

• Click 

Clear Log

 to clear the log. 

For a list of some common error messages that might appear in the log, see 

“Log Entries” 

on 

page 101
