     MIE ADR-1500 Instruction Manual 

Thermo Fisher Scientific 

 

Use the following procedure to replace the optional 37-mm filter cassette 
holder assembly (

Figure 5–12

). 

1.

 

Turn the instrument OFF. Remove the AC plug from the bottom of 
the instrument. 

2.

 

Unfasten the two captive hardware and swing cover down on the center 
panel. 

3.

 

Disconnect the battery cable from J6 or J8 from the power 
communication board. 

4.

 

Remove the filter by depressing the overlapping push connect fitting to 
release the HEPA filter. 

5.

 

To install the new filter, follow the previous steps in reverse order.
