SHELTER FOUNDATIONS

The following sections contain information to cable trenches, foundations. The production of the indi-
vidual foundations and the excavation of cable trenches, are normally part of the civil works and not,
therefore, the subject matter of this description. Site specific requirements must be taken from the
project planning documents. The information on this subject herein, in consequence, only provided
for information purposes.

Cable trenches are to be respectively excavated between the nearfield dipole foundation and the
foundation for the antenna distribution unit and between the cable man hole and the shelter. See fig.
2−2 for a cross−section of a typical cable trench.
