Cleaning and Maintenance

Fuser shuttle and exit rollers

When you notice streaks parallel to the direction of fusing in the prints, you can
do the following:

■

Clean the fuser shuttle and clean or replace its components

■

Clean the exit rollers

The fuser kit contains these replaceable parts:

2 foam oiler wheels

Replace when you notice ink buildup on the fuser wheel.

2 fuser wheels

Replace after printing 500-600 large-size prints such as ANSI E,
Arch E, ISO A0 or JIS B1.

2 cutters

Replace if paper cuts appear jagged

Setting the front panel

On the printer’s front panel, press the

Menu

button; the printer

displays this message:
