5-11 Onboard Indicators Management Engine (ME) Recovery
Use jumper JPME1 to select ME Firmware
Recovery mode, which will limit resource
allocation for essential system operation
only in order to maintain normal power
operation and management. In the single
operation mode, an online upgrade will be
available via Recovery mode. The default
setting is Normal. Refer to the table on the
right for jumper settings.

Manufacturer Mode Select
Close pin 2 and pin 3 of jumper JPME2
to bypass SPI flash security and force
the system to operate in the Manufacturer
mode, allowing the user to flash the system
firmware from a host server for system-
setting modifications. The default setting is
Normal. Refer to the table on the right for
jumper settings.

Dedicated IPMI LAN LEDs
In addition to LAN1/LAN2, a dedicated
IPMI LAN port is also located on the I/O
module. The amber LED on the right
indicates activity, while the green LED
on the left indicates the speed of the
connection. Refer to the table on the right
for more information.

LAN LEDs
Two 10 Gb LAN ports (LAN 1/LAN 2) are
located on the I/O module. Each Ethernet
LAN port has two LEDs. The yellow LED
indicates activity, while the link LED may
be green, amber, or off to indicate the
speed of the connection. Refer to the
tables on the right for more information.
