6-4. Installation of the Basic Console
Installation Location
Move the basic console to the location where it is to be installed.

Free space is necessary to open the door during inspections
and maintenance. (Refer to Section 3-3, “Installation Space”.)
Decide the location taking open space into consideration.
Fixing the Console
(In case of console only or in case of up to one or
two extension consoles)
1.
Loosen the four nuts securing the floor levelers.
2.
Rotate the hexagonal bolt block of the floor leveler by
hand until the feet of the console contacts the floor,
and completely ground them on the floor.

If the bolt block cannot be rotate by hand, use a spanner.
In addition, be careful not to rotate the bolt block exces-
sively. Otherwise, the console will be raised.
3.
Respectively rotate the four floor levelers by 180
d
with
a spanner.
4.
Fasten the nut.
(Use a spanner of 30 mm across.)

Checks after Removing the Shipping Metal Fixtures
After removing the shipping metal fixtures, check the
following.
1.
After the removal procedure is complete, check that all
the shipping metal fixtures have been removed.
2.
Check that the X cable is parallel to the X rail. If the
X cable is not parallel, lift up the X cable gently
several times so that it is parallel.
3.
Check that the transfer assembly can move from end to
end along the X rail.
5. Cushioning material of I/O magazine
When the unit is shipped from the factory, a cushioning
material is rolled around the handle of the I/O magazine. It
needs to be removed.
