6-11-5. Installation of the DMS-PCU1
1.
Slide the server rail on the left side that is supplied
with the DMS-PCU1 (PetaApp control unit) to the
standard rail. Pull out the server rail on the left side
supplied with the PetaApp control unit, from the main
rail on the front, and remove it.
2.
Remove the server rail on the right side from the main
rail in the same way.
3.
Install the left main rail. Check the hole of the PC
bracket M (80) on which the left main rail is going to
be installed. Insert the front tab of the rail into the hole
of the PC bracket M (80).
4.
Keep pressing the rail-fixing lever until the locking
mechanism is unlocked.
5.
Keep pressing the rail in the direction toward the front
of the PC bracket M (80) until the rear tab is aligned
with the hole (use the bottom hole is reference) of the
PC bracket M (80).
6.
Insert the rear tab of the left main rail into the PC
bracket M (80). If the rail is fixed correctly, the rail-
fixing lever comes in the correct position.
7.
Install the right main rail in the PC bracket R (80) in
the same way.
8.
Place the DMS-PCU1 on the flat and level surface.
9.
Align the keyhole of the right server rail with the pin
on the side of the DMS-PCU1 .
10. Slide the rail in the direction toward front of the DMS-
PCU1 until the server rail is fixed in the specified
position. If the server rail is fixed completely, you can
pull the rail toward the rear of the DMS-PCU1 .
11. Install the left server rail in the same way.
