Please open a Maintenance Menu on DiskUtility and perform
Repair Defects.
The areas which failed in the writing of data in Disk increased
(integrated defects = I), node name: XXXX in RAID ID n.
Please open a Maintenance Menu on DiskUtility and perform
REPLACE disk.
Description/Steps to take
FC loop initialization occurred. The FC cable may have been
disconnected (or reconnected).
Check that the disks and FC cable are securely connected. If
this message appears even when they are properly
connected, there may be a broken line in the FC cable.
Replace the cable.
An FC connection was started. The FC cable may have been

Execute Replace Disk on the Maintenance Menu of the Disk
Utility to replace the disk.
You can use the Disk Utility to perform self-
diagnostics and acquire information about the Fibre
Channel Interface Board.
The contents of the self-diagnostics function are as
follows.
• Acquisition of configuration information
– Fibre Channel Interface Board information
– RAID information
– Disk information
• Acquisition of additional information
– System Monitoring Service logs
– Mode parameters of all hard disks
• Diagnostics
–Fibre channel connection test of all hard disks
–Fibre channel controller SRAM test (When the
PORT-0 SRAM or PORT-1 SRAM check box is
checked)
Note
The system must be rebooted after the test if you
perform the fibre channel controller SRAM test.
