Disk information
Disk information means information on free hard disk
drives (Free HDD) and single hard disk drives.
A single hard disk drive comprises a free hard disk
drive.
To display disk information, trace down the tree on the
left side of the Disk Utility main window to select the
target disk, and then click Disk/RAID(D) > Disk
Information on the menu bar.

Description
Fibre channel Interface node name
Category of the hard disk in the system. One of the following categories.
• DATA-Online: Single disk being used as logical drive
• DATA-Offline: Single disk reserved for use as a logical drive
• SPARE: Single free disk (shown on the tree structure in light blue)
• USED: Hard disk with Used status
• LOCKED: Logical drive which is being operated on by another Digital Media
Workstation
• DAMAGED: Original hard disk after replacement by another hard disk
• RAID-DATA: One of the data drives in an array set
• UNKNOWN: Category unknown
Hard disk status. One of the following:
• NORMAL: Normal
• FREE: Free
• USED: Used
• MISS/DOWN: Disk cannot be recognized by the system
• LOCKED: Disk is being operated on by another Digital Media Workstation
• DAMAGED: Disk has been replaced by another
• BROKEN: Broken
