Description
Access privileges to single hard disk, displayed only for single hard disk drive.
The type of access privileges granted to the Digital Media Workstation is shown within
parentheses. There are the following types.
• Global (Full): Full read and write privileges
• Local (Full): Full read and write privileges
• Local (None): No read or write privileges (cannot access)

To display logs
To display logs for a hard disk, click the DISK LOG
button (see also “4-1-3 Viewing Logs” on page 4-9).
To display the Maintenance Menu
To display the Maintenance Menu for single hard
disks, click the Maintenance Menu button (see also
“4-1-2 RAID Maintenance Menu” on page 4-7).
To change RAID drive access privileges
For single hard disks, access privileges can be changed
only for disks with Full (read and write) privileges.
To change access privileges, click the [Change access
privileges] button to display the Change Access
Privileges dialog, then select Global or Local and click
the OK button.
Note
When using a Fibre Channel Storage Unit in a shared
environment, power off all Digital Media Workstations
except the one you are working on before performing
this operation.
