It is important to display the same active route in ECDIS900. The active survey line has to be
manually selected by the navigator in ECDIS900.

To configure, click the

Load\Unload objects

dialog and select the active route for ECDIS.

The system calculates and displays the XTE (Cross Track Error) and the ETA to the end of the
survey line.

Safety zone

The safety zone is an area defined around the streamers in which special alarm functions are
applicable.

ECDIS900 calculates dynamic safety area from the position of the external cables and the
safety distance entered by the user.

To configure, enter the safety distance numbers in the

Safety passage

field.

Display

ECDIS900 displays a request of safety zone in the following dialog:
