Measures must be taken to ensure safe disconnection
of the conveyor device in the danger zone of the strap-
ping system when the safety fence door is opened and
to prevent inadvertent starting. This can be achieved,
for example, by signal exchange. The switching ele-
ments required for this purpose must comply with the
safety requirements.
2.5 Residual hazards
Other residual hazards include:
1. Entering the danger area over the conveyor!
2. If the dispensers are outside the safety fence,
there is a risk due to the unexpected withdrawal of
the dispenser.
3. Danger of injury when changing the strap coil by
dropping the coil. Wear safety boots!
2.6 Employer responsibilities
The operator is responsible for ensuring that persons
using the machine receive the information concerning
safety in an understandable form.
2.7 Responsibilities of the personnel
All persons who have been assigned to work with the
machine are obligated to:
1. Observe the basic regulations for workplace safety
and accident prevention.
2. Have read and understood the chapter on safety and
safety instructions in these operating instructions and to
abide by these.
2.8 Qualifications of the personnel
Depending on the work carried out on the machine, the
personnel must be qualified in the following manner:
For transport, commissioning, troubleshooting,
maintenance and disposal:
Specially trained personnel or personnel with
specific professional training.
For operation:
Trained operating personnel.
WARNING
No modification must be made to the
safety concept of the machine without
the knowledge of the manufacturer.

Refer to Chapter 6.5 when working in
the hazard area.
