4.2.1  OPERATING ELEMENTS

With the exception of the enabling button, all positioning 

and indicating units are mounted on the control desk.

The components mounted on the desk cover are label-

led on the outside with the relevant function (pictogram) 

and inside the desk cover with the operating material 

designation (BMK). The first two digits of the BMK 

indicate the relevant page of the electrical connection 

diagram.

FUNCTION

 

Connects/disconnects machine from mains. After switch on wait until 

the CPU of the SPS is booted (max. 15 s), and then switch on „Control 

system start“.

Switches on control voltage.

Releases voltage for machine drive elements (as soon as the CPU of 

the SPS is booted, waitingtime max. 15 s).

Switches off control voltage. Safety relay 32K1 drops.

Using the touch screen, the operation modes MANUAL, CYCLE, 

AUTOMATIC and FREE PASSAGE can be selected. All functions and 

settings can be made in different submenus. 

Causes a stop (immediate disconnection of the power supply to the 

machine drive elements), also acts on the conveyor control via the 

signal exchange. To start the machine unlock the EMERGENCY-STOP 

switch and press the „Control system start“ button.

The key switch is used to release the enabling button located inside 

danger area (see also page 12).

Optional:

If the light barrier „Infeed“ is actuated (by entering the safety area) this 

button lights up and an error message is displayed. By pressing the 

button, the fault is acknowledged.

If the light barrier „Outfeed“ is actuated (by entering the safety area) 

this button lights up and an error message is displayed. By pressing 

the button, the fault is acknowledged.
