5. Review the rest of the SNMP information and modify if necessary.
Configuring SNMP using your meter’s webpages
You can configure SNMP trapping using your meter’s webpages.
You must download the ION MIB file from www.usa.siemens.com/pds.
1. Connect to your meter’s webpages.

Report Buffer Size
1 - 30
Enter the maximum number of trap messages to be stored before the trap
messages are sent. Traps are sent when the number of trap messages is
equal to or greater than this value.
Report Hold Time
1 - 300 seconds
Enter the maximum duration for trap messages to be held. Trap
messages are sent when the time after a trap event has occurred is equal
to or greater than this value.
