20) Install the OPC drum to the printer body.
21) Manually turn the transfer drum gear section to move the trans-
fer drum to the position shown below. (White sheet position)
22) Close the transport section of the printer.
If it is normal, the transfer drum white sheet section is brought
into contact with the OPC drum and the cyan image on the OPC
drum is attached to the transfer drum white sheet section.
23) Open the printer transport section and check that the toner
image is attached to the transfer drum white sheet section.
If the toner image is not attached to the transfer drum white
sheet section, the transfer drum is defective. In that case,
replace the transfer drum with a new one.
After this procedure, use alcohol to clean the transfer drum sur-
face. If tape adhesive remains on the transfer drum surface, a
paper jam or defective picture quality may occur. Apply starting
powder UKOG-0123FCZZ FR/AW) to the transfer drum surface.
5. Margin setting
Margin setting is done in increment 1/600 inch.

After turning on the power and while the four LED’s are blinking,
press the MENU key and

key together, and the machine will enter
the adjustment mode of the top margin and the left margin.
