In the basic settings of CorreluxView-3 software, it is necessary to specify the computer
COM port to which the GPS receiver is connected.
At the top left, click and then on Settings . Under GPS device , select the correct
COM port from the list.
If you do not recognise the COM port, you can do the following:
Option 1:
Open the “Control Panel” of the computer operating system.
Under “Device Manager” (or similar designation), in the section “Ports” (or similar
designation), you will find information on the connected device and the
associated COM port.
Example:
Option 2:
Did you install the aforementioned GPS test program from the driver CD onto
your computer? Then open this program (“GPS Information” button the desktop)
and click
Scan COM Port .
12.3.2 Procedure
To determine the GPS position, proceed as follows:

1 With the laptop and connected GPS receiver, go to the location of the sensor.
2 In CorreluxView-3, open the GPS management window of the sensor. In the
window, click .
Result:
The GPS receiver starts to search for GPS signals. Once the position has
been determined, the longitude and latitude are shown in the window.

Click again to end the GPS search.
4 Press OK to confirm the displayed position data and use it in the software.
