Offline correlation (multiple-point measurement)
10.1
Performing measurements
A group of 2 to 8 sensors is programmed for the measurement and then positioned at
the measurement points. Multi sensors and/or Power transmitters can be used. The
measurement from the sensors is performed simultaneously, but without any contact
between the sensors or with the computer. After the measurement, the sensors are
collected, the measurement data is read out and the correlation is performed on the
computer.
•
Is a pipe network plan with pipe parameters for the area in question (digital or
paper)?
•
Are the batteries of the involved devices charged?
•
Are all involved sensors registered in the sensor pool of the CorreluxView-3
software?
•
If Power transmitters are used: Are the microphones connected correctly?
To prepare the desired sensors for the measurement, proceed as follows:
Step Description
1
All sensors must be switched on.
2
Start the CorreluxView-3 software.
3
Open the
Offline correlation
tab in the menu bar.
4
Click on
Program
in the menu bar.
A dialogue window may appear, asking whether all previous measurement
settings should be deleted. Answer
Yes
.
Result:
At the top of the directory tree, a new measurement is automatically
created with the name
Offline
.
This is a temporary directory that is used to record the sensors and the
measurement data of the upcoming measurement.
The Offline
directory
is deleted or overwritten as soon as
•
The measurement data is permanently saved to the software database by the
user (command
Offline correlation
Save
) or
•
The next new measurement is created (command
Offline
correlation
Program
) or
•
The current measurement is discarded or deleted by the user (command
Offline correlation
Drop
)
