Electrical System

The following is a description of the acces-

sories controlled by switches and circuit

breakers in the cabin DC panel:

Battery and Parallel Switches

These switches activate the motorized battery and

parallel switches for the engines and House circuits.

An LED light in each switch glows when the battery

or parallel switch it controls is on. The light may

not turn off immediately or will slowly fade out

when the switches are turned off.

Generator Control Panel

The generator panel controls the starting, running,

and stopping of the generator. Lights in the panel

and an LED data screen monitor engine tempera-

ture, exhaust temperature, oil pressure, fuel level

and other generator functions.

The generator can also be controlled by the CZone

control feature or a control panel on the genera-

tor. The generator DC circuits are powered by the

house battery bank and activated by the generator

battery switch in the aft systems room near the

generator.

An owner’s manual for the generator has been

supplied with this manual. Please refer to it and

the Scout CZone operation manual for additional

instructions for operating the generator.

Cabin Speaker Switch

An ON/OFF switch that activates and deactivates

the cabin speakers.

DC Panel “Push TO Reset” Breakers

Normally ON circuit breakers with a flexible trans

lucent boot on the face are located on the DC

breaker panel. When a breaker trips, the reset

button pops out and is visible in the boot. Press

the button to reset the breaker.

Some circuits are activated by the House battery

switch and some provide continuous power to the

circuits they protect and remain activated when

the battery switches are OFF. These breakers are

always ON unless tripped by an overload.

The following circuits are supplied power

and protected by the “push to reset” circuit

breakers:

Auto Bilge FWD

A continuous power circuit breaker that protects

the circuit that supplies continuous 12 volt electri-

cal power to the automatic switch for the forward

bilge pump. This breaker is always supplied cur-

rent when the batteries are connected.

Auto Bilge AFT

A continuous power circuit breaker that protects

the circuit that supplies continuous 12 volt electri-

cal power to the automatic switch for the aft bilge

pump. This breaker is always supplied current

when the batteries are connected.

High Water Alarm

A continuous power circuit breaker that protects

the circuit that supplies continuous 12 volt electri-

cal power to the automatic float switch in the aft

bilge that activates the high water alarm in the

hardtop switch panel. This breaker is always sup-

plied current when the batteries are connected.

Sumps

A continuous power circuit breaker that protects

the circuit that supplies continuous 12 volt electri-

cal power to the cabin drain and air conditioner

sump pumps. This breaker is always supplied

current when the house battery is connected.

24 HR NEAMA

A continuous power circuit breaker that protects

the circuit that supplies continuous 12 volt electri-

cal power to the CZone network. This breaker is

always supplied current when the house battery

is connected.

ACCY 1

Reserved for additional 12 volt equipment.

Wireless Remote

A continuous power circuit breaker that protects

the circuit that supplies continuous 12 volt electri-

cal power to the CZone controller activated by the

key fob wireless remote control. This breaker is

always supplied current when the house battery

is connected.
