Interior Equipment

The head contains an integrated, high-speed tur-

bine grinding pump that transfers waste to the

holding tank where it remains until it is pumped

out by a waste dumping station or the overboard

diaphragm discharge system.

The fluid level in the waste/holding tank is moni

tored by the tank level monitoring feature in the

CZone display. A lockout system built into the

control panel prevents the toilet from flushing

when the holding tank is full.

Refer to the toilet manufacturer owner’s manual

for more information on the operation of the ma-

rine head system.

Head System Holding Tank

The holding tank is located in the forward bilge.

When the tank is full, the Black Water Tank

Sender monitoring feature in the CZone display

will indicate the holding tank is full. The tank must

either be pumped out by the optional overboard

discharge pump or an approved waste dumping

station through the waste deck fitting.

A lockout system built into the toilet prevents it

from flushing when the holding tank is full. You

should not attempt to bypass the lockout and

flush the toilet when the tank is full. An overfilled

holding tank will force waste into the holding tank

vent filter. This will clog the filter and could cause

damage to the holding tank. It will also cause

unpleasant odors in the cabin and cockpit.

Use the following procedure to pump out the hold-

ing tank with the overboard diaphragm discharge

pump system:

• Open the waste discharge valve in the forward

bilge.

• Use the CZone control feature to activate the

overboard diaphragm discharge pump.

• Monitor the pumping operation closely using

the CZone Black Water Tank Level monitor

as the tank is drained and turn the pump off

immediately when draining is complete.

• Close the overboard discharge valve.
