Exterior Equipment

Care should be exercised while operating the re-

frigerator on 12 volt power without the engines

running. It draws a substantial amount of cur-

rent and can severely drain the house batteries

through extended use. The refrigerator slide out

drawer has a special latch to secure the drawer

while under way. Make sure the drawer is properly

secured whenever the boat is moving.

Refer to the refrigerator owner’s manual for ad-

ditional operating and maintenance instructions.

Ice Maker (Optional)

An ice maker is a popular option that is usually

mounted in the station instead of the refrigera-

tor. The ice maker operates on AC power only.

A switch located just below the ice maker door

turns the unit on or off. The fresh water system

supplies the water for the ice maker. Make sure

the freshwater system is activated and there is

water in the tank before turning on the ice maker.

The ice maker door has a special latch to secure

the door while under way. Make sure the door is

properly secured whenever the boat is moving.

Refer to the ice maker owner’s manual for ad-

ditional operating and maintenance instructions.

Storage Drawers

Storage drawers on the port side of the leaning

post are secured in the closed position with flush

mounted, push to close latches. To open, pull the

latch handle to release the latch and slide the

drawer out. To close, push the drawer in until

the latch catches.

Cockpit Fresh Water Shower (Optional)

There could be an optional shower spray head

located in a recessed compartment on the port

side of the leaning post. It has hot and cold water

and a retractable shower head with an ON/OFF

valve. Refer to the Fresh Water System chapter

for additional information on the cockpit shower.

Aft Facing Bench Seat

A rear facing bench seat is built into the rear of the

leaning post station. A slide out storage drawer

with a push to close latch is located below the seat.

The bench seat cushion is hinged and raises with

the sink/grill hatch to convert the sink to a prep/

entertainment center.

Tackle/Storage Drawers

If your boat is equipped with an optional upper

control station, the seat and footrest are used as

steps to access the ladder to the upper station

from the cockpit.
