4.2.3 Refuelling
For refuelling the power plant must be extended by means of the manual operation
switch,
since the quick-disconnect coupling is found inside the engine
compartment on the right upper side. The coupling is a quick-disconnect coupling
design and thanks to this refuelling is done without spilling. The tank is easily filled
from a suitable container by connecting a flexible hose featuring an appropriate
fitting and by actuating the switch, which is situated below to the coupling, of the
internal electrical fuel pump.
After refuelling, the quick-disconnect coupling shuts the fuel line automatically
when disconnecting it, so there is no danger of spilling fuel.
To read the fuel quantity indication on the LCD display of the engine control unit
during refuelling shortly press the menu button.
Important note:
Make sure to stop refueling at maximum 10.5 Liter because the remaining
space is needed as expansion volume (the engine control unit only displays
integer values).
After refueling the power plant may be retracted again by means of the manual
operation switch. Doing this make sure that the propeller blades are folded and
that propeller blade no. 1 (the longest blade, in the opposite position as the
smallest angle between two blades) is either in the 12 o´clock or in the 6 o´clock
position.
