Electrical system

7.12.1 Gliding avionics

When operated in the pure sailplane configuration, the minimum instrumentation
prescribed does not require any electrical power source.

Additional equipment is to be wired according to the instructions of the relevant
instrument´s manufacturer.

Power for the avionics is supplied by one or more batteries see page 7.12.1.2.

Using a selector switch, power might also be provided by the power plant battery.

One main switch controls both the power sources for power plant and for gliding
avionics.
