Alterations or repairs

Alterations

All alterations on an approved aircraft model must be approved by the responsible
airworthiness authorities prior to the initial operation of the altered aircraft.

Repairs

If there is any uncertainty whatsoever regarding the significance of damage
discovered, the powered sailplane should always be inspected by a CFRP/GFRP
personal with appropriate authorization.

Repair and release to service may only be conducted according to the legal
guidelines.

A help for repairing is found in the repair instructions of the powered sailplane
“repair instructions for sailplane and powered sailplanes made of fiber reinforced
plastics” and the applicable Technical Notes.
