Bailing out

If possible the power plant should be turned off and retracted.

After jettisoning the canopy - see page 3.2.1 - the bailing out is done as
follows:



Actuate release buckle of restraint system



Bend upper part of body slightly forward. Grab canopy coaming
frame on fuselage with both hands and lift body. Legs will tilt-up the
instrument panel



Leave the cockpit to the left



Pull rip cord of manual parachute at a safe distance and height.
