Save the trace data in the real/imaginary part format.
2) snp (s1p and s2p) file
The “snp" file is a kind of data output file. It can be called by the CAE (computer aided engineering) software (such as ADS of Agilent),
but cannot be called by the analyzer. The “s1p" file is used to save the characteristics of single-port devices, only including one S
parameter (S11 or S22). The "s2p" file is used to save the characteristics of 2-port devices, including four S parameters. If the full
2-port correction is started, four S parameters will be saved in the "s2p" file. If the full 2-port correction is shut down, measurement
data will be saved in the "s2p" file as much as possible. Example: if the full 2-port correction is shut down, the current active trace is
S11, but S21 is still measured in the channel, measurement results of S11 and S21 will be saved in the "s2p" file. As no effective
measurement data of S22 and S12 are provided, the corresponding data in the "s2p" file are 0.
The “snp" file is saved by the following method:
a) Menu path: [File] > [Save] > [Save as...]. The [Save as] dialog box will appear.
b) Set the saving type as the data file (*.s1p or *.s2p) in the [Saving type] box.
c) Set the saving directory in the [Save in] box and [File list] box.
d) Set the file name in the [File name] box.
e) Click [Save] to save data.
3) prn file
The prn file is used to save the measurement data of the active trace in lines and rows. Each line corresponds to one measurement
point. The first row corresponds to the stimulus value, while the second row corresponds to the response value. The format is as
follows:
S11
LogMag
LIN_SWEEP (Hz)
LOG_FORMAT (dB)

The “prn" file is saved in the following method:
Menu path: [File] > [Save] > [Save as...]. The [Save as...] dialog box will appear.
Set the saving type as the list file (*.prn) in the [Saving type] box.
Set the saving directory in the [Save in] box and [File list] box.
Set the file name in the [File name] box. Click [Save] to save the file. Close the dialog box.
3.6.2.
Printing of Measurement Contents
The analyzer supports the output of measurement contents through the printer or printing into the specified file. The local or
network printer can be used. The printer can be of parallel, serial or USB interface type. Add the printer in the WINDOWS
operating system.
3.6.2.1.
Print Setup Method of print setting
Menu path: [File] > [Print] > [Page Setup]. Then the page setup dialog box will appear.
