Function description:

Select this menu to enable the interpolation function.

Parameter description:

OFF [OFF|ON].

5.2.6.4.

Port Extension

Function description:

Select this menu to move the measurement reference plane in an electrical manner. Thus, other kinds of calibration can be avoided.

Add a cable after calibration. The port extension function is used to “tell" the length of the cable added to the specific port of the analyzer.
In case of failure of direct calibration, the delay (phase shift) caused by the clamp can be compensated by port extension. For the method
of port extension setting, refer to the section of port extension in 5.5 Improvement of Phase Measurement Accuracy.
