of the test port 1 is the difference of the obtained marker value minus 6
4) Repeat step 3 and complete the test for full frequency range of the instrument.
Test of effective direction of Port 1
1) Connect the load standard to the test port 1 via test cable. Click [Analysis] > [Memory] > [Trace statistics] > [off].
2) Select [Marker search]. Change frequency span. Search the
“
Maximum" within the span. The maximum value is the effective
direction value of the test port 1.
3) Repeat step 2 and complete the test for full frequency range of the instrument.
Test of reflection tracking of Port 2
1) Connect the short-circuit device to the test cable end face of the test port 2. Click [Measurement] > [S22]. Then click
[Analysis] > [Memory] > [Normalization].
2) Select [Marker search]. Change frequency span. Search the
“
Maximum" and
“
Minimum" within the span. The larger
absolute value is the reflection tracking value of the test port 2.
3) Repeat step 2 and complete the test for full frequency range of the instrument.
Test of effective source matching of Port 2
1) Click [Analysis] > [Memory] > [Trace statistics] > [Data + memory].
2) Connect the open standard to port 2 via test cable. Click [Scale] > [Reference value], and enter -50.
3) Select [Marker search]. Change frequency span. Search the
“
Maximum" within the span. The effective source matching value
of the test port 2 is the difference of the obtained marker value minus 6
4) Repeat step 3 and complete the test for full frequency range of the instrument.
Test of effective direction of Port 2
1) Connect the load to the test port 2. Click [Analysis] > [Memory] > [Trace statistics] > [Close].
2) Select [Marker search]. Change frequency span. Search the
“
Maximum" within the span. The maximum value is the effective
direction value of the test port 2.
3) Repeat step 2 and complete the test for full frequency range of the instrument.
Test of transmission tracking of Port 3
4) Click [Measurement] > [S34].
5) Change the starting and ending value of [User domain]. Search the “Maximum" and “Minimum" within the set range. The larger
absolute value is the transmission tracking value of the test port 3.
Test of transmission tracking of Port 4
6) Click [Measurement] > [S43].
7) Change the starting and ending value of [User domain]. Search the “Maximum" and “Minimum" within the set range. The larger
absolute value is the transmission tracking value of the test port 4.
Effective load matching of test port 3
8) Click [Measurement] > [S33].
9) Change the starting and ending value of [User domain]. Search the maximum value within the range. The maximum value is
the effective load matching value of Port 3.
Test of effective load matching of Port 4
