Timing configuration and status example for Slave device
MODE SELECTION AND CLOCK STATUS
–
Timing Modes
- Mode of synchronization signal
–
Clock Recovery Source
- Source of clocks, the
SFP2
for Master
unit or
RF
for Slave
unit must be
selected
–
Clock Recovery Status:
–
“
-
“ - external source of clocks is not enabled
–
locked
- IDU is successfully locked to selected external source of clocks
–
not locked
- IDU is not locked to selected external source of clocks
–
Reference Clock Status:
–
recovered CLK
- IDU clocks was successfully recovered from selected source
–
local XTAL
- local source of clocks is in use
TSI SETTING AND STATUS
–
TSI Mode –
indicates current status of the device: “TSI local master” or “TSI local slave”
–
IDU-IDU Time Sync
– indicates status of time synchronization between CFIP Phoenix C IDUs: “ok”
or “no sync”
–
IDU-Extension Module Time Sync
- indicates status of time synchronization between CFIP
Phoenix C IDU and Extension module: “ok” or “no sync”
–
Holdover Status
- indicates status of the Timing module. Possible values are following:
–
Warming up
– will be indicated after start of the CFIP-ASI&TSI-EXT module. It will be
displayed until the
Temperature stabilised oscillator
reaches operating temperature
–
Tracking set-up
– this message will be displayed during synchronization process of the
Timing module to external clock source;
–
track to PPSREF
– this message will be displayed after synchronization of the Timing
module to external clock source when inaccuracy less than 50ns is reached;
–
sync to PPSREF
– this message will be displayed after full synchronization of the Timing
module to external source;
–
PSREF unstable
– this message will be displayed in case when the Timing module detects
inaccurate source signal (accuracy worse than 10e-8);
