Connecting to Third Party Controllers

The SEE™ camera’s command and control functions provide the capability to connect

to third party controllers, recorders and encoders using the following criteria:

• Transport – RS232, RS422 or RS485

• Protocol – enhanced VISCA™

or Pelco-D

2

• Baud rate - 2400, 9600, 57600 are supported

• Parity - none

• Flow control - Off

• Data bits - 8

• Stop bit - 1

NOTE: Contact

1. VISCA™ is a professional camera control protocol, designed by Sony to be used on

several of its surveillance and OEM block cameras.

2. Pelco-D is a control protocol for PTZ cameras.
